Hi, and welcome to my newly created blog! I am 100% new to this, as of today, although I am no newbie when it comes to writing. I like to think of my perfect career as what would have been a professional student. If I could have stayed in school for the rest of my life and made a great living at it, I would have been a multi-millionaire by now. Yes, I did consider being a professor and I actually have an almost master's degree in Higher Education Administration. Turns out there was no money in it though. Imagine that...

Anyway, I am going to use this blog as a sort of a test for myself. I have been trying to come up with a way to stay at home, or work at home, and make a great living doing it. I possess more skills than the average person I'd like to think. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I like to think of myself as being intelligent, competent and extremely driven when I set down a path. But I tend to stray from what should matter most. I go on tangents and ramble a lot, both in my life, and in my writing... Fancy that huh.

So, like I was saying, this will be a test for me. I will try out my html skills as I learn, as well as publish book and website reviews and discuss other productivity tools. If I can build my confidence and hopefully help a few people along the way, as well as myself, I will prove to myself that I can do this and more, and someday I will be famous and fabulously rich doing something that I love.

That said, my blog will document my journey toward entrepreneurship, or as I am choosing to call it: Divaneurship. You know Beyonce's song, "Diva" Haha, yeah... A Divaneur is the female version of the entrepreneur. And so what if it's corny. I have spent so much wasted time trying to come up with clever business names and logos and URLs... I decided to just get off of my a-- and do something to show for it for once.

Enjoy~
